Life Insurance Leads - What Are the Best Things to Target?

Hi guys, I am new here so hello. I work in marketing (sales leads). No, I am not here to sell anything but I have a question that I think this group of people might be able to answer for me.

I am currently testing out different advertising methods and I was wondering if there was something (age, gender, height, weight, etc) that makes leads more appealing to you? What do you like to see when you call someone that makes you think you have a better shot at closing a deal?
