A prospect was referred to me last week by his next door neighbor, who is a client of mine.
He wanted help with his Medicare Part D. He also was interested in buying a Medicare supplement.
He comes into my office and I discover he has the AARP Preferred plan and all his meds are tier 1's. I change him to Humana Walmart for Jan 1st, saving him $800/year.
This guy is 75 and has never had a med supp.
He also tells me he has had 3 heart attacks in the past 4 years, and, a pending surgery.
I tell him he has a snowballs change in hell of getting approved for a med supp.
