Question on Older Clients

So I am fairly new and haven't quite gotten the hang of figuring out who to pass on writing. So I have an older gentleman, 78, my telemarketer got him and he had gotten a huge rate increase on his liability only, single vehicle and his renters insurance, we were half the price and he is on a very limited budget. He drives very little. Then he had his older brother call me, he and his wife both drive and own a home. Someone said not to write people at that age because if we drop them after he gets an accident, he will be hard pressed to find insurance at his age, so don't get older people that
