Have a client, who recently qualified for Medicaid, and got on it this month. She wants to be on a Medi/Medi plan, but since its mid-month, the earliest start date could be Aug 1.
But, she has an operation July 12, and the expected co-pay will be $600.
My suggestion was "push the operation back until august, when the Medi/medi plan starts". She doesn't want to, because it will be "inconvenient" :1arghh: but still doesn't want to pay the copay :1rolleyes::1arghh:
I'm thinking she is SOL, but I told her I would look into whether or not Medicaid will help her still.
