I have a family member in Arizona who has been denied life insurance coverage by 15 companies (don't know which 15 yet) because of the following:
He has bi polar and borderline personality disorder and explosive disorder. He is also classified SMI seriously mentally ill.
He is 23 years old and a non smoker.
I looked at the Transamerica final expense application for 0-44 but it does ask if you have had a mental disorder in the last 10 years. It doesn't say what happens if you answer yes. It just asks for an explanation.
Has anyone had success getting coverage for a young person with these
