Hello everyone, I recently joint this insurance forum because I can see that there is a lot of agents that we can help each other with solid ideas or advice.
I used to be a captive agent for 2 years for a Medicare plan. Now, after 9 months with no insurance activities I have decided to go back. I would like to try to be an independent agent/broker. I am in S. FL and would like to see if any one could recommend a very good FMO/IMO or agency try to go independent?
Would it be a better idea to contract directly with major carriers for MAPD, PDP and Med-Supp?
