A few weeks ago I wrote a man with Transamerica. Quoted him standard and they issued preferred. Went by to remind him the policy would be drafted and his mother told me had died.
His mother wanted to pay me at the time, but I refused to accept payment. I told her the policy was not in force because he wanted his first premium withdrawn on 6/3/2016. I contacted Transamerica and never heard a word until today. The company is processing the claim. It is going to be contestable so if they pay I will be a hero, but if it is denied I will not be as popular.
