Hi,
I own a royal enfield bullet 1981 model. The vehicle FC (Fitness Certificate) has expired last year, which I missed to notice.
Due to the floods that came to Chennai during last year, my bike got damaged and I had raised a claim for my vehicle repair.
My claim was rejected stating that FC is not available. Can anyone suggest if this is a right way to do so?
I would agree that insurer need not reimburse for a road accident claim when FC is not available. This is a natural calamity & I don't understand the role of FC for this claim...
Can i get the FC renewed now and re-submit the claim
