Just Got Some Old Leads..what to Do Now?

I'm from Milwaukee and a friend of the family finally got me into insurance after I decided to leave auto sales.. (tired of the long hours.. literally got home between 1030 and 12am during tax season).. so now that I'm finally licensed and contracted etc etc he's given me about 50 or 60 old leads. He told me that they were indeed a year or two old but he said he wanted me to try and sell those and get comfortable before I spend 2,000 dollars on fresh leads. I saw that some people do sell cheaper telemarketed leads but he said those aren't as good as what I think.. While I appreciate his honest
