I'm aware of the differences between fraternal benefit societies and traditional insurance companies. My question is dealing with the branding; While watching a video put out by Royal Neighbors, they list the American based fraternal organizations, of them are a few with the words "Life Insurance" in the name.

Some examples include: "Teachers Life Insurance Society", "Woman's Life Insurance Society", "Police & Fireman's Insurance Association"
Could a fraternal theoretically call themselves "XYZ Life Insurance Co
