Typical Producer Appointed with 6 Carriers?

A new survey from Brokers Service Marketing Group finds the typical life and/or annuity producer is appointed with 6 carriers.

How many carriers are you appointed with, and of those, how many do you actually use (and really need) on a consistent basis? Is not being appointed with enough carriers or a specific carrier or two ever cause much of a problem?
