Calif health plan regulators approved Centene Corp's bid to buy Health Net. The regulations are requiring Centene to keep HN's headquarters in Calif (they are in Woodland Hills, CA now).
The combined company must also build a Calif call center, improve the healthcare system and provide assistance in under served communities, according to the article in the L.A. Time on March 23.
Centene said it expects to close the $6.3 billion deal shortly.
