Filing Clients Paperwork: What's the Most Efficient Manner

After writing business for years I've always used file cabinets to keep everything organized but they're full. Since taking on FE full time eight months ago I'm flooded with client folders everywhere... all over my desk, stacks on the floor, basically surrounding my office. Business has been great so I'm not complaining but I've ran out of space and need input on how you keep organized. 20+ new client folders a month is getting ridiculous, before I know it I won't be able to enter my home office and it's a good size space.
