Termed for Out-of-service Area

Some days I wonder why I do this. . .

Got a call from a client who said his Part D plan was termed last August. We called Humana to figure out why. Turns out he was trying to fill an Rx near his 2nd home in Lake Tahoe, on the CA side. They immediately flagged it and termed him for being outside of the service area. He has been on the same plan for 3 years and has been back and forth the whole time. Why they decided to term him now, I have no idea.

I thought that they could not term a plan unless it was a permanent move? His main address has not changed. He does get his mail forwarded b
