Geez, I didn’t realize it was this simple for a consumer without life insurance to figure out how much they need and what type to buy! Thanks NY Times!
This is the closing paragraph from the Feb. 15 article link below, titled simply “Life Insurance Made Easy”:
Call it the 20-20 plan. All you have to remember is 20 and 20. Set aside 10 minutes, multiply your salary by 20 and buy a 20-year term policy in that amount. Cross this item off your list of things to do and stop losing sleep over life insurance.
Of course it’s nice the author is reminding people they need life insurance.
