Best Admitted Carriers for Hard to Place Home Insurance in California

I am interested in peoples opinions in the best carriers that provide Homeowners insurance in California for harder to place risks. Homes that are in a hi fire zone, pitbulls, etc?

I have my own favorites, but I do like to find out what success other agents are having with which insurance carriers?
