My car (about 93,000 miles) sustained some hail damage this summer, so about three months after it happened I decided to take it to my insurance company so I could file a claim. Literally, on my way back from getting my car inspected (the timing was absolutely crazy) my engine started making some strange noises. I took it into the shop, and they told me that I had "rod knock", which basically means the car needs a new engine. Needless to say, I was seriously bummed out.
