I am currently running client's prescriptions through Medicare.gov and I'm not sure how we are supposed to make sure our client's are on the correct plan when there is such a difference in the price of drugs between each plan. I have found that Aetna Medicare RX Saver puts their generics at $1.00 to $2.00 and is ends up showing them as the top plan in a lot of cases when I know they are not. For Example:
Risedronate Sodium on Aetna - $1.20
Risedronate Sodium on Cigna - $67.74
Ranitidine HCL on Aetna - $1.20
Ranitidine HCL on Cigna - $30.38
Ranitidine HCL on Humana Wal Mart - $224.94
