Advice for my New Position

I work for a very prominent company that has a huge client base of P&C policies. I was recently offered a position to sell life insurance out of this very large book of business. I will be the only life agent with this company in the state. This book has hardly been tapped and I was looking for ideas and advice on how best to tackle it right away. I won't be prospecting my own clients but that of other P&C agents. The demographic of the book is probably 40s and up, married, homeowners, with kids and grandkids. Very ideal for life insurance.
