A guy asked me this today. His mother who is sick has a life insurance policy. He is the owner and beneficiary. He's about to get a judgment against him. He asked me 2 questions. The first is when he collects the proceeds can a person with a financial judgement against him attach his life ins proceeds? The second is if he's the owner of a life policy with cash value can the person with a judgement take the cash value?
