I've been running into a lot of people taking hydrochlorothiazide in addition to high blood pressure medicines. Most tell me they take this "water pill" because their high blood pressure medicine causes swelling in their feet. Most say 100% they don't have Chf and are on no other medicines to indicate Chf. I write down what they tell me. How do others handle this type of situation?
