We issued a dwelling fire & the carrier's UW department changed the units from 1 to 4 after inspection (without calling us or the insured to ask.) We followed up & explained it's a single family rental. It has 2 entrances from front/back so I can see how an inspector may think that, but we explained this in detail to the UW. We even offered to have the insured provide a signed statement to confirm this as he's a licensed realtor.
