H Spring Renewal Loss?

So I had a different hierarchy about 2 years ago,and last year they paid new all renewals from Preious and current hierarchy. Clients are still on my book of business, but hs says because my contract was terminated during transition of hierarchy, their policy is they don't owe me renewals that were under previous hierarchy. On top of that,they say, oh, we paid you previous hierarchy renewals last year on accident. I replied that i never terminated a contract and just made a transition to new hierarchy,And that clients are still on my book and call me cause i serve them, so its only right they
